SKN & BOD Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. General Refund Policy

At Skn & Bod, all purchases are final. Refunds will not be issued for a change of mind, changes in personal circumstances, or a decision to discontinue treatment. This applies whether treatments are paid in full or through a payment plan.

Refunds will only be granted where required under the Australian Consumer Law. We may also offer refunds at our discretion if it is determined that a treatment cannot be provided safely (for example, due to skin type, health conditions, or other contraindications).

2. Appointment Cancellations & No-Shows

● Notice Requirement: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment, regardless of whether the booking was made online, in person, or by phone.
● Late Cancellation or No-Show: If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, or if you do not attend your appointment without a valid reason:
- A cancellation fee of 50% of the treatment cost will apply.
- For prepaid treatments, the booked session will be forfeited.
● Deposits: Consultation deposits are non-refundable if you cancel within the notice period or fail to attend.

3. Prepaid Treatments

● Savings & Expiry: Prepaid packages are non-refundable, non-transferable, and valid for 18 months from the purchase date.
● Rescheduling Requirements: At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule prepaid sessions. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeiture of the session.
● Transfer Restrictions: Prepaid treatments cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged for a different service.

4. Treatment Results & Client Responsibilities

● Consultations: Complimentary consultations are offered to help you make informed decisions about treatments.
● Disclosure of Information: You must provide accurate and complete information on consent forms and disclose any factors that may affect your treatment outcomes.
● Expectations: Results may vary depending on individual factors. We encourage you to discuss your goals with your therapist or practitioner to ensure realistic expectations. Individual results may vary.

● Agreement: By purchasing prepaid treatments, you confirm your acceptance of these terms.

5. Cosmetic Injectables

● Deposits:
- $50 non-refundable deposit for consultations with Registered Nurses.
- $150 non-refundable deposit for consultations with Cosmetic Physicians.
- Deposits are redeemable against treatment costs if completed on the scheduled date.
● Results: Due to individual variation, results are not guaranteed. Additional sessions may be required, and refunds will not be issued for treatment outcomes.

6. Adverse Reactions Policy

● Reporting: Notify Skn & Bod immediately if you experience any adverse reaction.
● Cooperation: You must fully participate in our assessment process, which may include providing photographs, medical history, or attending telehealth consultations.
● Investigation Timeframe: Allow up to 6 weeks for assessment.
● Follow-Up: Where appropriate, follow-up care or review appointments will be arranged.
● Refunds: Adverse reactions outside of our control or unrelated to negligence will not automatically
qualify for refunds; decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

7. Expiry Terms

● Prepaid Packages: Valid for 18 months from purchase.
● Promotions: Promotional discounts apply only during the advertised period and cannot be combined with prepaid package offers.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. By booking, purchasing, or receiving services, you agree to comply with this policy.
