1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by SKN & BOD Clinic (“we”, “our”, “us”) including treatments, consultations, and product sales. By booking, purchasing, or receiving any service, you agree to these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy.
2. Appointments & Consultations
● Complimentary consultations are available to assess suitability for treatment.
● Clients must arrive on time for appointments. Late arrivals may reduce treatment time or require rescheduling.
● All clients must complete a medical and consent form prior to any treatment.
3. Cancellations, Refunds & Prepaid Treatments
Our full Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all bookings. In summary:
● Minimum 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
● Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a 50% fee or forfeiture of a prepaid session.
● Prepaid treatments are non-refundable, non-transferable, and valid for 18 months.
● Refunds are only provided where required under the Australian Consumer Law or if treatment cannot safely proceed.
● Consultation deposits are non-refundable within the notice period.
4. Treatments & Results
● All treatments are performed following professional assessment and informed consent.
● Results may vary depending on individual factors such as age, lifestyle, skin type, and health.
● No guarantee is made regarding treatment outcomes, and multiple sessions may be required to achieve optimal results.
● Images shown in marketing materials are for illustrative purposes only.
Treatment-specific notes:
● Fat Freezing (Cool Shaping 2 – Clinicmed): A non-invasive fat reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling to target and eliminate fat cells naturally through the lymphatic system. Not a weight loss procedure.
● HIFU & RF Microneedling (Focus Dual – Clinicmed): Stimulates collagen and elastin production to tighten, lift, and rejuvenate the skin. Some redness or swelling may occur temporarily post-treatment.
● BTL Embody: A muscle stimulation device that enhances tone and strength by contracting targeted muscle groups. Not a substitute for exercise or a medical procedure.
● Mesoestetic Professional Treatments: Advanced skin programs and products designed to support in-clinic results and at-home maintenance.
5. Client Responsibilities
● You must disclose all relevant health information, including medical conditions, allergies, or medications.
● You agree to follow all pre- and post-treatment care instructions provided by our practitioners.
● You consent to SKN & BOD retaining treatment notes, images, and relevant records for clinical and legal purposes.
● SKN & BOD reserves the right to refuse treatment if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
6. Payments & Finance
● Payment is required at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.
● Deposits for consultations or treatments are non-refundable within the cancellation window.
● We may offer payment plans or finance options through approved third-party providers; separate terms will apply.
7. Adverse Reactions & Follow-Up
● Any adverse reaction must be reported to SKN & BOD immediately.
● Clients must cooperate with our review and assessment process, including providing photographs or attending follow-up appointments.
● Refunds for adverse reactions are not automatically granted and are assessed case by case.
8. Promotions & Packages
● Promotional offers are valid only during the advertised period.
● Discounts cannot be combined with prepaid package offers.
● SKN & BOD reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or limit promotions at any time.
9. Privacy & Confidentiality
● Your privacy is important to us. We collect and store personal and health information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
● You may request access to your personal data or correction of information by contacting admin@sknandbod.com.
10. Limitation of Liability
● While every care is taken, SKN & BOD is not liable for unforeseen reactions or results outside of professional negligence.
● Clients acknowledge that aesthetic treatments involve inherent risks, which are explained during consultation.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Queensland.
